Hi
I hate to burst this train of thought - but no I wasn't a groupie!!!OH got fed up with the melodramatic drummer
and singer and focussed more on his computer engineering career which was more demanding and paid him a monthly salary. The music always meant more to him than the 'gigging'. Combining work and your hobby is a tricky balance and as he got older the dreams of being a rock star went out the window!!!:lol It was a bit of fun while it lasted.
His brother was also in the band and whenever we get together they play their guitars and sing. Our respective children are always a bit gobsmacked! My SIL and I just look at each other and shake our heads and smile!!! Life and its many twists and turns.collywobble wrote:Thanks Iris - will have a google
Sharmaine - you were a groupie!!!!!!I have to make do with hubby's whistling
Take care.

Hi Lynn
You did make me smile! I think my rocking days are gone. I enjoy music too and OH sometimes gets me to sing - but I won't let him record my voice - it would be unbearable.

I thought you were the forum rock chick for a moment there
I'm always in awe of anyone with musical talent. Although I did play a mean triangle when I was at school
Take care,
