Nodules (again)

I had a small egg sized nodule on my elbow. Since xmas it slowly got smaller and smaller until it has now almost disappeared .YAY.
BUT...
I now have a nodule come up on my throat! it looks like I have an adams apple and while it isn't painful, it gets uncomfortable if it gets rubbed repeatedly (by clothing for instance) I have an appt with rheumy on the 26th.
Just wondered if anyone else has had this?
I also get RA in the jaw occasionally.

Hi Fourferrets,
I really hope you can get some results on whats going on when you see the Rumo. Thankfully its not long to wait I guess, though it might feel it as you have discomfort. I had a huge amount of trouble with my throat a few years ago, the adam apple swelled to double its normal size and it effected the swallowing and has my voice as well (though some would say not enough ) I don't actually know what mine was cus it took 8-9 months to see ENT by which time it had all but gone.... So could you keep us posted please? Good luck and fingers crossed for you. Take care Cris0 -
not on my throat but i have another nodule that has come up at the base of my finger and in the last few days the whole hand has swollen and i can barely move the fingers.
not much help but i know how painful nodules can be.
good luck at the rheumy.

Hi,
I don't have RA but I once had a goitre on my throat it looked just like a big adams apple. I had all the tests for thyroid etc but mine turned out to be a cyst on the thyroid gland.
I would say go and get it checked out by your GP.
