Hi,
I've just been to see my GP about the hospital visits and tests that I've had, unfortunatly she hasn't yet recieved the results of the last rheummy visit, as I still have an ultrasound to be done next week, I suppose they will contact her then.

All these thing seem to have been going on for ever and although I realise that it takes a while to go through the system, I'm feeling a bit fed up. I also have to go through the ESA appeal, but apart from a letter saying that after looking at the notes again they agreed that I only qualified for the points orginally awarded and that they would write, giving me details of the appeal process, I'm stuck waiting.

still, at least the rheumy is sending me for the ultrasound which might give them some idea of whats going on. I want to do something, even for a few hours a day but at the moment I get so very tired if I do any extra things. Sorry this is just a silly rant. I had hoped that the doctor would have heard by now! She is helping me with the ESA claim, though.

Think last week was a bad week as I lost one of my elderly cats after a short illness. Silly, I suppose to get so attached to animals that have shorter lives than us, but, a lot of us do it! I have got 4 move to keep me occupied!

    Hi Sue

Not easy to be pateint is it? As you say if tehh tests are all going back to the rheumy chances are they will wait for this last one.

The ESA has been a very frustrating thing too hasn't it? Bet you are heartily sick of it bey now. You want to do something waiting is hard if you are that kind of person.

Mind you - I do wish I had your GP - she sounds lovely.

As for your cat - I am so sorry Sue. I had to let my Eric go in July after a short illness too (feline renal failure), and I can still cry over him. You are not at all silly :( You have all my sympathy.

    Take care of yourself

    Love

Not surprised you're feeling fed up...you've had such a lot to deal with and waiting and then waiting again for test results is so frustrating!

sorry too to hear about your elderly cat...and you are not silly to feel that way. I have dogs and one cat now but have lost elderly pets in the past and been just as 'cut up' as you. :(

hope the ultrasound gives them the info they need finally to get the all the results 'in' and sent to your doc and you!

    chin up...(((hugs)))

    Hi Sue,

Test results can take a long time especially if there are a few departments involved but I hope they come through soon for you.

I am really sorry about your Poppy. i also don't think its silly, I lost my dog and sheep a while back and another old dog as well and I still cry over them.... I think I always will actually but you gave her a really good life and I honestly think they find peace, sun and warmth as well as freedom from pain where they are now. Luv and a ((( ))) Cris xx

    Hi Sue
know wonder you are fed up, these test take it out of you, and having to wait for the results has well, it all catches up with you, and on top of losing your cat, dont apologise for being so attached to her, most people are like this with there animals, I certainly am.
I hope you get all your test very soon, and things go well for you.
    You take care of yourself

    Hi Sue

Sorry to hear about your frustrations ... hopefully the ultrasound next week will provide some useful information.

Sorry also to hear about you sweet little cat.. I lost one of mine (Amber) to renal failure just befor Xmas and I still get upset thinking about her. she had was used as a football by some boys when she was a kitten and never got over it - so she was very very timid..

    Best wishes

Hi, the waiting is hard - I hope you get your results soon.

I am sorry to hear about your cat. I have always loved my pets SO much - and find losing them terribly difficult. They are a massive part of our lives and give unconditional friendship and love - so feeling so sad when they die is totally understandable. Only other pet owners really understand.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Hello, Thank you all very much for the understanding and sympathy, its true, only animal lovers understand.

Its next week I have the ultrasound and I hope they can give me a result, they say the result will be sent back to the rheummy, who sent me.

I've got painful hands today and last night I felt as if my thumb was out of joint & couldn't move the darn thing! It also got quite swollen. Its a lot better today but the other hand is joining in! Sorry to moan on.

I do thank you all for sympathy over Poppy, though.

    Love Sue

    Hi sue

    Aren't they all lovely :)

Poppy was renal failure too then? Was such a sad time for me too. I know you have the others to help you, but you do miss them. Daisy has gone a long way to healing my wounds.

I know you will let us know your results when they come in and i hope those hands give you a break today too.

    Love
