That sounds positive Josie. Have you got adequate pain relief to help you cope as you learn to walk and weight bear again?

    Are the stitches/clips out yet?

    Keep us posted.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    hi Josie,

Sorry its giving you grief there. I wonder if its cus its lost the support of the bandages? If it is it will soon ease off and be ok again. Maybe you have wriggled it a bit much? Just sit with it up and I used to find glaring at it helps, oh and swearing at mine was useful  Hope you soon loose the pain. ((( ))) Cris x

I think it's a protest with being walked on! Can't blame it I suppose! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who glares and swears at things though-have taken to grumbling under my breath which I'm sure isn't good! The doctor said to sit wiggling it all the time-I chose not to hear that and settle for every so often-that's quite enough thank you!! Thanks for everyone's good wishes!

Hi Josie, your leg is probably tired - walking and no bandage and I remember the pain being worse as the day progressed. Take it a bit easier tomorrow and take your full allowance of pain meds.

Hope you manage some sleep tonight.
