A lady I work with seemed to have a funny reaction to glucosamine so she stopped taking it. I think its like anything you take-it can have different effect with different people. Im assuming from your post you are having problems with it? I was told by my nurse that there is no point in taking supplements just to eat a healthy diet so I stopped taking it.

Im not sure if that was any help or me just rambling on-sorry! :)

:? Well I've just been advised to take it by the nurse/physio who did my bone density scan when she saw that my spine is damaged by arthritis not osteoporosis as originally thought.

There's no specific warning in the literature with it about blood sugar levels.

I'll be interested to see what anyone else has experienced.

Woops, just re-read the label and there is a warning about this.

Hi, I'm not sure, but I think I might have read somewhere or been told that it can effect blood sugars for diabetics. I'd check with either the pharmasist or your nurse/doctor, if you have a problem like diabetes or something effecting blood sugar levels. I'd go for the Chemist myself, as they are pretty good at that sort of thing.
