hi i heard this on local radio this morning and thought you might find it amusing, i live on a scottish island and as the orcadians call us i'm an ferry looper ( someone from down south not born here ) not that i will ever ever be like them, :x they have a differernt way of doing things and they dont stop and think that all money comes from down south and they think they can do what they want.

I live in Birmingham which is another country on a different world. I received my postal voter card the other week which explained in detail that I have chosen to vote by post, for the election which will be held on Thursday the 6rh May which is quite true. My postal voting papers will be sent to me about a week before the election and if I haven't received then by the 29th of May to let them know. That will be 3 weeks after the election, it makes you wonder :D
hi rehab glad you found that amusing we need to go and sort them out lol i come from near newmarket in suffolk orignally so i guess i never ever be one of them, ask a travel agent how to get where i live now and they havent got a clue.

Cool :-) I love listening to stuff like this. I'm from Derby and incidentally we look down on anyone from Brum because they can't say "I" properly - "Oi went to the shops today!"

Rehab, now I know why my postal vote chitty has not turned up, it's in for reprint!

Nina, now are you sure you're talking about brummies and not yam yams, there is a difference and never call a yam yam a brummie :lol:

On a side note, is it WMFS you work for? Only curious as I used to work there.
