Hi Handsy,
I've been on it since January and it's been great for me....so far! Had a touch of nausea in the first month but that's now gone. It's important to drink lots of water to prevent kidney stones and you may have noticed that your wee is now a shoking yellow colour.....that's normal!
I will keep my fingers crossed that you see good results with it,

Been on it for years as part of my treatment for PA. It keeps the P at bay, not that I ever had it badly. It does make your wee a strange and awful colour - it can also stain soft contact lenses and initally may cause bruising. I bruised wonderfully when I first started it in 2001. That stopped within a few weeks. Good luck with it. DreamdaisyHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Handsy
I took it for about 12 years. I had very bad headaches and nausea for the first few weeks but that disappeared once my body got used to it and I had no probs with it after that. Hope it works for you! Tillyx0 -

Hi Handsy,
Had these for years. They worked really well for 3 months then didnt seem to make any difference. I am still taking them though as I understand they work in combination with MTX and Humira.
when I had my THR last July I had to increase the dose to 3 tablets twice a day as had to come off the other two(due to lowered immunity risks associated with the operation).

I am on this drug - mine doesn't seem to be working yet thou.
I'm currently on 4x500mg a day (2000mg a day in total).
What sort of dose is everyone else taking? and how long did you find it took to start working?0 -
Hi
I started off on a lower dose and increased weekly. I am now taking 3 tablets twice a day but still dont feel any different for being on it. My GP told me that this is the first line of DMARDs they use as it has less side effects than the others. Hoping to try something different when I see the rhueumy next a s I hate taking tablets especially when they are not helping.0 -
Hi, I've been on this for a few months and they have put me up to 6 tablets a day but its not keeping mine under control. It makes my sweat orangey/yellow and my wee bright yellow but apart from that and a bit of nausea it hasn't give me any side effects. Hope it works for you :P0
