how strange when someone rings up your child, they have a quick chat, end call then spend next 30 mins texting to each other instead of talking, mystery!

Certain mobile top-ups have unlimited texting, my daughter has it and is forever clicking away. Mind you, I'm not much better. I love getting texts, especially the rude ones my hubby sends me during the day - ooops, too much info there!
I think it's something to do with a text being there to reread over and over. Especially the funny or poignant ones. I know I read a lot of mine again. Does anyone else?

um...suppose if you dont want to disturb someone you can sent text and jokes are good to keep so you can read them and show people.0

I'm convinced my eldest sons fingers are glued to his phone, its all he does is txt txt txt his ring tone makes me laugh though

I know the answer to that one as at the age of 35, i do that too.

I remember when I was young.....
bck in the dark ages as my kids seem to think ....
when I wet shoppping with me friedn on sat morning.....
then wanted to phnoe her my Dad said much the same...
what have you got to say to each other???
I too am a top texter - though there are times when...
a) me thumbs/fingers hurt and
b) I cant find me glasses so can't read 'em

I guess I am no better.... I text a huge amount and like Toni get aching thumbs us I use either hand...... I get the text thing so well..... :oops: :oops: My biggest thing though I can't aways see the keypad so well so.........well...... I like text spelling Cris x0 -
as a matter of interest do the texters above have mobiles next to them now? and text in between being on here???0
