Hello,
I'm a medical student and was recently asked by someone with arthritis if I could recommend any devices that made winding up and setting the date on a manual watch easier.
Thanks in advance for any tips,
Brian

hi Brian! nice to meet you.
no tips on this one...other than what I do which is to get someone else to do the winding up.
you enjoying your medical studies? have you done your orthopaedic rotation yet?
my son pip is finishing his ODA training in August this year...and has loved every minute of it!

Oh Delboy, is there no romance in your life? There is nothing better than a mechanical watch. A friend used broad rubber band which he bunched up. It gave both padding and grip and he used to wind twice a day just to make sure that his watch was always topped up. I seem to remember five winds a go. Hope this helps Medical Boy whose name I can't recall. DreamdaisyHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

there is a device sold by betterware, or was it kleeneze? It does not set the time but when you place the watch in it, it winds the watch!
Here is one on amazon

Perhaps that's the answer then, a kinetic. I'm sorry to hear that your wrists are affected - in light of that my first post seems a little cruel. Please accept my apologies. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
