Hi Polly, in the same boat as you regarding waiting for GP appointment, used to be able to phone on day but now you can book up to 4 weeks in advance I have to wait for two weeks for my appointment (not urgent).
How on earth do we know that we are going to be ill in 4 weeks?
I know that some are booked for repeat appointments but honestly don't know how the system works!0 -
You need to ask for a teplephone consultation, if gp wants to see you and the wretched receptionists won't let you have an appoinment, infact demand it. You are worrying and need it sorting.
If still no luck ring the local PCT, that'll shake em up a bit!!
