Are any of them new? If so this is an indicator but I wouldn't expect it as an effect of established meds. Diclofenic may upset your tummy, this is the case for me but this is a side effect that I got very quickly after trying it. It could however just as easily be a stomach bug tho we've had a few going round here and as you are on meds and probably not feeling your best anyway you are probably more susceptible than most. If you are concerned talk it over with your dr. Whatever keep hydrated and hopefully it will soon pass

Oh Margaret! that sounds grim. poor you.
I don't know if it could be the meds but as Chrissie says if you've been on the tabs for a while then seems unlikely to be them. :?
Best phone doc for advice and meantime drink as much as you can. wink:

Hi Margaret
I was on diclo, no problem, for about 2 years and then one day, out of the blue, stomach pains, nausea etc. On chatting to the gp I came off them and all the symptoms vanished, (not the inflammation though) so he put me onto Arcoxia another inflam and I have been ok since.
It could be a stomach bug though, there is a lot of it going around at the mo.
I would seek guidance from your gp if it continues much longer.

Ooooh - that sounds rough. I echo the others - keep hydrated and check things with you docs. That's the trouble with arthritis meds and bugs - which is causing the problems? Good luck and let us know how you get on. DreamdaisyHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I was the same as Elna - no problems at all with Diclo, then bam, horrible stomach cramps and the runs. May not be that, but might be worth a chat with your GP.

Hi, I had diclo, thought I was OK, just a bit of extra indigestion, which I ignored for a few weeks, then....perforated duodenal ulcer put me in hospital for a month! Don't ignore symptoms, even if you have had a drug for a while. I did and well, I learnt the hard way!

I've suffered in the past with sickness etc from tablets. Someone told me mint tea can help and also live yogarts to stop stomach aches/sickness - I dont know how they work but I did find they helped me when i tried them so maybe worth a try.

Hi Margaret
I am so glad it was just a bug.
Nothing worse than having to muck up a good mediacation routine is there.
Hope you will be ok now.
