hi i was laying in bed this morning waiting for my turn in the bathroom and heard this on the radio and thought of all the people on this forum

Hi Sylvia,
I think a film is a good idea to take your mind off an operation. When I had my THR last July i took in my I-pod with lots of my fave tracks on. It was great and definately helped me.

hi i'm surprised that no ones thought about this before as with my son when we travling anywhere we always take his dvd player and dvd's even when we are travling and waiting at airports.
i even used it when he was little to distract him so that he would sit on the toilet amazing what you can do if you have too, i must amit i would much rather be awake and watch a dvd.

Surely we can come up with a list of films not suitable for watching - Texas Chainsaw Massacre for starters. It does make sense tho. Distract yourself and things aren't so bad. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
