if only i could turn the clock back 5 or so years but heh i must not dewel on it just got to make the best of it.

I get DLA at the higher rate and I have never been visited or interviewed by anyone. Can't help, sorry. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Sylvia, my neighbour was visited by a doctor who is a vascular specialist. He was very good, asked her various questions about her mobility and health. He got her to raise arms above head, and just simple things. He said there and then he was reccommendikng she get the dla. I think most of the doctors that do this are more understanding than the ones for ESA (although they are not qualified doctors anyway) and have some understanding of what it means to have various forms of arthritis. Good luck, hopefully others will have more knowledge, and try not to get too stressed.0

Hey Slyvia
didnt some one do a thread about this a while back?? is it worth doing a search at the top rt of the page???
I think they will do a standard medical but I have it in my head that they are also looking for evidence that a person who has a disability lives there. So sticks/raised loo seats/rails by the bath etc anything like that.
I am sure it will be fine - they are dooing so many more of these medicals these days.
Listen - you have the right to apply - nothin ventured nothing gained. and I would have a fiend/family member with me too for support.
Love
