Thanks for the replies. We think he's gorgeous too, but then we're biased.
We're doing ok, Harry is a very contented baby and for the past two nights has been sleeping for four hour stretches, which makes us feel almost human.
He had a tongue tie which was snipped on Monday (that was awful - for us!). I had to hold his head while the midwife put a pair of scissors in his mouth. He only shouted for a moment but it was a bit stressful for us. His heel prick test is going to be a piece of cake!
He's eating like a horse and his dad is getting used to nappy changing and we've all been widdled on.
I'm doing ok. Incredibly achy still. I managed to pull my left shoulder muscles during labour and they are still very sore. But I'm hoping all the aches ease a bit soon (helped by sleep). My other half has been very good and has been running round after Harry and me. He doesn't want to go back to work.
Right its almost feeding time again so best go.
Take care everyone. Hope you are all doing ok.

Oh bless. I hated the heel prick and felt so guilty. Glad everything is going well apart from the tongue snip.
Milky breath love it......

Thanks for the lovely replies.
Harry is doing really well and was 8lb 9oz at the last weigh-in. He's still doing 4-5hrs in one go at night which is lovely.
My hubbie went back to work yesterday and Harry was a right cross-patch all day. Luckily my mum came over to help and he's a different boy today. A lot less screaming. His lungs are certainly developing as his crying is getting louder.
His cord finally came off and so he had his first bath on Wednesday, which he loved. There were no tears just a bit of a confused expression.
Loving being a mum and thankfully the RA is still behaving itself. I'm so glad. Looking forward to a sunny weekend.
Hope everyone is ok.0 -
