hi back to normal now everything went OK, we took his portable DVD player with him this morning and some Thomas the tank engine DVD's and Thomas CD that I had copied from his cassettes at the weekend, wow has the weekend really gone, it felt like long time waiting for this day to come. I can cope with my pain but his must have been really horrible and kept it to himself, a tough cookie like me I guess, but I guess he glad it over with I am, poor little man ( must stop calling him that he taller than me lol )

I glad I went to the recovery room with him I think it helped to reassure him and lets face it I know him only too well, we both told him how brave we think he was, he a bit of a grump at the moment as he got blood on a pillow case as don't like it being different, something I found out long ago how you can never win with him typical single track mind you just have to laugh it off as they say water's off a ducks back, anyway I glad that's all over with

    Hello Sylvia,

Glad and relieved it is all over. For all of you.
Daniel was a right mess after the op.They called me into recovery so quickly I thought something dreadful had happened but there he was trying to jump off the bed dripping blood from his mouth.Of course with my arthritic joints I was no match for him.
I bet your son was hungry after all that. But of course no sweets!
Bless your son with his fave Thomas Videos.Got a house full of them too!

oh well when they need a bit of comfort then thomas comes out wel i dont mind as long as he happy thats all that matters, regarding the sweets we always had trouble grannys buying all the wrong stuff, will they listen no, still hubby one died last year and mine live elsewhere and i dont see them the kind of folk you can live without, know what i mean  still he will always continue to tell people no sweets fruit instead, much better for them.

Hi Sylvia, glad to hear it all went well and you are back home. A few years ago my youngest son had to have a bracket atached to a tooth that had grown the wrong way. I was so relieved when I saw him in recovery. Both my boys were mad on Thomas tank engine as well.

sorry forgot to say but my son was brilliant getting a needle put in the back of his hand, they put some hand numbing cream on the back of his hands and a special plaster and he did not feel a thing, I think he was amazed and so was I for that matter.

    wow. :D:D:D

wonder if the doctor can do the same when he goes for his booster vaccination on Wednesday
