Hi,

Well sat here and meant to be taking it a bit easy so well doing this will keep me here eh?!

Hope your all okish and having a decent day? Hope the weather is being kinder as well... its iffy here and since I didn't shut the sheep in it might be they are wet before I get to attack them with the shears... not the electric ones of course cus they re not back yet!

Hand shears are better really but hard work doesn't come close.... I mean it just doesn't... Yeah I know it looks easy :lol::lol: Anyone want to try?:lol::lol:

Oh before I forget Elizabeth if you look in have you changed your aviators fish colour or have my eyes really been that bad?

Right yesterday I woke up half dead the crohn's kicked me and I took the new tablets and inside 2 hours I was down at the sale so that's good or was a much needed fluke  it was a bit better as well mind I haven't done one for 2 weeks again so maybe that's what made it a bit busy for me......

Saw a dog very like Mr. Stink and had to ask cus I thought it was a Harrier.... he wasn't he was an English beagle.... didn't know there was one other than the 2 types I did know. He was lovely, white where my stinky boy is black and tan where my one is white. My boy is slightly thicker set and favors the foxhound a bit more but they could have been related... if he hadn't been neutered :lol: Sound the same too, a special bark you can't mix up with any other kind of dog :lol:

Came home and heres a problem......

Primrose aka The Witch loves me in the same way she does a herd menber..... fair enough its nice to be part of the herd.... but..... she is also thinking she might have to see if she is below or above me in the structuring of the herd.......

I went out with the camera, she was asleep.... herd me and got up and saw me.... She started walking to wards, broke into a trot, then cantered..... (you know where this is going don't you?!) and stopped short of knocking me over...... she isn't that big maybe about 400-600 kls I guess......

We had or usual scritch and then, then she reared up and tried to lock her head round mine    Foals do that in play to see who is the stronger so who is higher in the herd....... I yelled and shoved her away so she bucked and spun round and lifted here back end.... she didn't kick out but just the same.....

She had snake head Fanny Flat Ears syndrome all back to her mother and I had to keep shoving he away and yelling NO!

Think I might have created a monster and have to now go on a quest to find the foal :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Been to see her this morning and she was a bit more respectful but its not been the easiest of things and I don't think she quite understands I may be a lot lighter than her but since I am not a horse she needs to respect my space a bit....... So come on all you Uncles and Aunts get down here and take a turn .... please...... cus well...... she needs to learn asap!:lol::lol:

You can do it in pairs :lol:

Luv and ((( )))'s to you all,

Cris who really is hoping Elizabeth has changed the colour.... xx

Hi Cris, I've got two pairs of heavy-duty pinking shears.......would they help, do you think? Can't wait to see a sheep with thinned-out wool dyed blue.

Memories.....took me straight back to when I was a kid, the woman who owned the local Dance Academy (yes, it really was called that) had her poodle dyed lilac to match her hair. She also had a Siamese cat she took for walks on a harness and I'd never seen a cat on a lead before..........I was dumbstruck in the middle of the road and nearly got mown down by a passing lorry..........

Primrose definitely needs to be taught some manners, if littlelegs can't help, I'll send the big ginger cat from up the road. He's the size of a small horse, anyway and a cat with a nastier disposition I have yet to meet. Perhaps it's because he's ginger, don't often get ginger toms, do you?

They look lovely  I like he pink ribbon on the stampy one :lol: I think the lady Wishtiria would like a ribbon...... she would have blue though.... she may not like blue though..... I do!:lol::lol::lol:

Hair dye, got to get some but usually mine is done by the sun just we haven't had much for a couple of years yet have we? Maybe this year will be different eh?! Lets hope! xx

    Hi Annie,

No toms here please... I got 2 from the farm over now and then and they are horribly dominant and beat my lot up.....

They would look good with thinned and maybe back racked hair....... mind they got natural back combed look :lol: Least we got a bit off them and now colder they will hold till the week end though I must get some more off then cus the drip week may be ht and I won't be able to do it that week.....xx

    Hi Elizabeth,

I am glad it has changed and its not indication f how bad my eyes are :lol::lol: xx

Are you going round in circles, Lynn?

I don't like rats........had a close encounter with one a long time ago.......we had an old brick wall in the garden which was falling down. I was standing quietly watching something or the other when a rat popped out of the wall less than a foot away just at my eye level.........don't know which of us was the more shocked!

We do get a lot here if we are not careful...........but that will be someone else's problem soon!

    Hi Cris,
Well I hope the girls like their new hairdo! Hard won though, round two coming soon? Good news about the new meds, fingers crossed.
Primrose is getting a bit above herself in the herd then? What about having a clicker or tin to rattle when she bears down on you. She might have second thoughts about challenging the big cheese, eh. It might be a good idea to try the distraction theory while on the other side of the gate though!!!! Ok Stop laughing now. Back to the arm waving then.
Glad the sale went ok. The dog sounds interesting, is it an off shoot of the beadle or the other way round?
Hope things go ok next week, I’ll be glad when it’s over for you. Lv, Ix
P.S. Got a useless **** cat who would willingly watch the r@ts, nothing more but she will watch.:lol::lol:
