hi

I hope this don't seem strange but it is may and not February

I been out to the shops this morning and while sitting here typing this its snowing, sleet, and now its stopped, the sky goes really grey and then its snow showers and then stops and blue sky again and sometimes the sun does shine, no I'm not pulling your leg, I have never know this to happen before at this time of the year, has anyone else? what's going on this year, I think it will be a year no one going to forget, with the weather at the start of the year and then all the volcanoes causing problems.

When I was five or six we had three feet of snow one June. That was in the early sixties. The world will do what it wants. At least the weather keeps us on our toes - just imagine how dull wall-to-wall sunshine would be. (Yeah, right.) Dreamdaisy. (From cold, dull, grey Suffolk)

I hail from Buckinghamshire but much prefer it up here. Being so close to the sea is essential now, no way would I move inland. It's now pouring with rain. Grrrrrrrrr. DD

2002, the year my daughter got married.........it was a very cold, wet Spring, but she was so lucky........the weekend of her wedding, late in April, was the most beautiful one we could have hoped for - frosty but gloriously sunny.

3 weeks after the wedding we - hubby and me - had booked a long weekend away in Somerset as a post-wedding treat. We were sitting in the bar chilling out Sunday lunchtime when I looked out of the window and it was snowing like fury! That's 8 years ago next weekend, more or less, so more snow wouldn't surprise me and it damn well feels cold enough here!

Global warming I guess.no seriously though geological records show that the Earth's weather is going through a patch of stability at this point in time, CO2 levels are low and temp swings are very gradual although you wouldn't think so from all the howls coming from the likes of Greenpeace.

We have had hailstone here a couple of times last week and hubby said it was snowing at Buxton yesterday morning. Having to cover the plants up everynight :( Not playing anymore.
Forecast if you believe it is improving next week. :|
