Health News in the Daily Mail

I usually get my fascist rag (as The Husband calls it) on Tuesdays because it has a good health section. Today's subjects include dealing with chronic/acute pain, a new treatment for Crohn's and why middle-aged men faint when urinating in the middle of the night. (knew that anyway). You can check it all online, I'm sure. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

not sure about that
but they showed that if they got people to put one hand in icy water whilst saying a 'neutral' word &t timed how long they could manage, and then got them to put the other hand in the same icy water whilst swearing, nearly everyone could bear the pain for considerably longer when swearing
mind they did say that the people who did not routinely swear got the most benefit pain-wise from swearing
funny things bodies eh?0 -

You forgot to mention the article about acid reflux gastro medication. I have just had some prescribed and they are saying it can cause stomach problems and C dif is more liable. I have stopped taking them as only had them since Friday.
