Got OT due anytime..........going to do a home assessment
Hope they can suggest ways to make this place 'safer' for me......
Seems nowadays........If I can trip, fall, drop, spill..............anything, then I do it.......
I know others on here have had 'issues' with Gp's, Hospitals, Social Services......I have to say mine have all been 1st class.........
Long may they keep it up..

Good luck Robertis: be completely honest, don't let pride get in the way. They need a true picture of your difficulties. Hope it goes well - let us know, please! DreamdaisyHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

2 young ladies just been...
They've checked everything out.....asked a million questions....measured.... tested
And gone away.......
I have a list of suggestions to help myself...
And a list of things they're are going to bring next visit.....
New 'sticks'....toilet raiser....bed lever.... and bits and bobs for me to try
Or arrange to be done.... stair rail.....replace rear step.....look at replacing bath with level access shower
Seems like its going in the right direction........

That is good news. Social services gave me new banister rails and a raised toilet frame/seat arrangement which has been so helpful. It will take time to come to fruition but it's the first step. Have a cup of tea now - you deserve it! DreamdaisyHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Rob, glad things went well for you, the OT's have done alot of good things for me, hand rails outside and in, perching stool for the kitchen, rails to help me get out of bed and low level shower, they are wonderful people love Jaspercatxx0
