Vowels

Right, here's one for you word addicts. Can you name the two words in English that have the vowels in alphabetical order (without duplications, i.e. one a, one e and so on)?
Many years ago I was in my local pub and one pompous man was up at the bar saying very loudly that there was only one word that fitted this criteria. I immediately thought of a second, and called it out. When he finished sulking he bought me a G&T. Smashing! DD

Hello Joanlawson, I thought you'd be along!
Will that do? Obviously too easy again, I must sharpen my thinking. I have been trying to find a third one for years but have so far failed.
Right, what is the longest word in our language that does not repeat any letters? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Ameritous
However I think it is a incorrect and should be 'Emeritus' but can't find confirmation in my useless dictionary or on the net...0 -
My uber clever clogs son, tells me that arsenious - that which
contains arsenic - is another.........Ange.0 -
The longest word which doesn't repeat any letters is subdermatoglyphic- ( pertaining to the layer of skin beneath )0

OK then, what about this? Words that begin and end with the same letter (you are excused i, j, q and x). DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi DD. I like these word games. The English language is fascinating, isn't it :?: In answer to your question:
ruler, classic, treat, tourist, caustic, alpha, hush, evade, Liverpool.0 -
OK, let's narrow the field. Complete alphabet (minus the exceptions) and no proper nouns. Off you go, joanlawson, won't take you long I'm sure! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Not a word from anyone. Pourquoi? It's not that tricky! I'll check later and if no response I'll put my answers. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

A good one delboy but not the challenge. Can you find an alphabetical list of words that beginn and end with the same letter, excluding proper nouns? One is excused j, q and x, but v-ve is acceptable. For example, AureolA, BlurB, ClassiC, etc. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Still no biters - I'm surprised, I thought you'd all find this a doddle. OK then, here goes.
area, blob, clinic, dead, ease, fluff, grog, hush, kick, lull, maim, noon, olio, pop, rear, seas, treat, valve, wow, youthfully, zizz.
I'll see if I can think of any more - I tried an alphabetical list of animals last night when I couldn't sleep, dead easy, as were names for girls and boys. Car makes and models also fairly straighforward, swear words much harder. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Oh, I just found this question but didn't get to answer in time!
Post another one when you have the time DD and I'll give it a go!
