Hi gang
I havent been on here for a while and was wondering how everyone is?
I see there's quite a few new faces and some familiar ones. I was going to list some names and ask if they're okay but didnt want to miss anyone out which I would (memory like a sieve at the moment revising for exam  ).
I hope everyone's ok

Some of us are fine, some of us are not - usual story I guess. I'm relatively new around here - coming up for a month next Saturday. What exams are you revising for? DreamdaisyHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Dreamdaisy
How are you?Its very addictive on here isnt it? and it helps that there are other people who are going through arthur too and know what its like. I know it makes me feel less isolated.
I've got a Psychology exam next month, I'm not very good with exams so I like to revise quite a lot  .

It is addictive because on here people know what it's like and what we face. The Husband has just moaned that I'm an addict but at least I can unload on here and not on him = something I will point out later!
Psychology. An absolutely fascinating subject. I thought about re-training as an Educational Psychologist a few years back (I'm a trained teacher specialising in dyslexia) but it would have taken circa 5 years and that was too long. Good luck with the exam - what will it lead too? A new career or career change? Or is it just for interest? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
I'm not sure if its any use to you but I study with the Open University (Great when you have a flare and can't move very far) and they had a conversion diploma that could be taken if you already had a degree but haven't studied Psychology before. This was to get recognised by the BPS.
Thank you I need all the luck I can get .
I'm aiming for a Criminology and Psychology degree and then hopefully starting a new career in that side of work. I got into studying because I got fed up not being able to do anything I could before arthur. I must admit it takes my mind off it.0 -
DD is so right,I spend a lot of time here,I get pissed off with those that don't or can't be arsed to understand what it's fecking well like.
Sadly one chap has been banished to cyber exile and it's not the same without him in a way, good or bad he did post some really good threads on here.
Right that's me done I can't say na more coz I might get ejected as well!., or should that be dejected??.0 -
Mellman! Where have you been? It's been quiet without you. Hope you're ok, glad you're back. DreamdaisyHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Mellman 01, Pixy+faries, Bertyboy, Frogmorton + Suncatcher,
Hope you all are okish today.
Bertyboy- Totally agree with you with the smile. Yes the psy is interesting its quite a broad range course really so it tries to cover all aspects of it which can be a little confusing at times or its probably me .
Frogmorton- Thank you Toni, nice to be back. I think I suffer from information overload sometimes .
Suncatcher- Hi Joanne, it is really confusing with the new names + avatars. I've started writing a list . I've got about 3 people so far. If there's anyone who I don't recognise I apologise in advance
Take care all

Hi Sarah,
Sorry I answered this on the wrong post cus I have lost my last remaining brain cell! I from west Cornwall original but live in mid Cornwall now..... but.... I want to go home so badly
It is nice to see you back. Luv Cris x0 -
Hello, how's the revision? Bet it's tougher now the good weather has arrived.
I agree with you about the OU - it is a good way of gaining new qualifications and its flexibility is ideal for people like us. One of Labour's better ideas!
I wish you well with your work - keep us posted so we know how it's going. DreamdaisyHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi Cris,
How are you? I hope your feeling better.
I'm a mid cornwall gal, never moved out of a 5 mile radius hehehe.
