A who was walking on salisbury plain and he found a bomb he put it in his car and took it to the police station in case it blue up and hurt some body.

Mind you, the number of times people have trawled through the phone book and directory enquiries to find our office number to report a "small fire" they can see out of their window. They don't want to dial 999 in case it's an emergency :roll: I remember one particular conversation I had went like this:

- Are you sure? I don't want to bother them
- Hang up the phone and dial 999
- well, if you're sure, if the fire gets bigger, then I'll call
- Hang up the phone and dial 999
- I don't want to pester people, it might die out by itself
- Hang up the phone and dial 999
- Could you put me through yourself? So I don't have to dial?
- It will be quicker if you Hang up the phone and dial 999

You couldn't make it up.
