As for physio and ot, they have discharged me and been excluded from hydrotherapy group as I was diagnosed with a ? so I have been excluded from the group!!! which I find amazing really.

Great news!! What dose are you on?
I've just started sulfa 4 days ago, just one pill to start with and building it up to 4 in about 3 weeks. No miracles yet, but no side effects either which is good!0 -
Now that is brilliant news for you!! So pleased for you

So glad to hear it's working really well for you.
I've been on it since January and still getting great results. The rheummy did say that the arthritis may break through the sulpha at some point (spoil sport!) but I'm not going to think about that until I have to!
I hope these good results continue for you!

Hi Claire
That 's great.
A friend of mine has been on this for years for his psoriatic arthritis and also finds it really works for him (mtx didn't work for him).

hi claire
i too am on sulphasalazine was on a dose of 4 a day for a while but have just recently had it increased to 6.
they are now working much better for me. the dose of 4 did take the swelling down a lot but i had a lot of flare ups. since being on 6 i'm walking a lot better and my ring finger looks more normal instead of like a bowling pin! long may it continue!Just keep plodding along singing a song0 -
