Hi Lynn,
Got a couple of nests of bumble bees and possibly a colony of wild honey bees here..... its just cus I have had 2 swarms of the honeys 2 years running, one with 2 queens so given how far the nearest known keeper is its hoped they are wild.
I quite like them about but rather they were not indoors cus I am allergic to them... or was last time I was stung.
I leave he hedges wild and if harvested the outer edges of the fields are left to grow as they wish as well so it encourages them and with (I think its called verona or something like it) they need all the help they can get. Without then the world of plants fails in most cases so they are an indicator your have a very healthy ecology and thriving bees there Love Cris xx0 -

Oh, what a wonderful thing to be,
A healthy grown up busy busy bee;
Whiling away all the passing hours
Pinching all the pollen from the cauliflowers.
I'd like to be a busy little bee,
Being as busy as a bee can be.
Flying around the garden brightest ever seen,
Taking back the honey to the dear old queen.
(Chorus): Bz bz bz bz, honey bee, honey bee,
Bz if you like but don't sting me,
Bz bz bz bz, honey bee, honey bee,
Buzz if you like, but don't sting me!0 -
