I am wondering if anybody knows much about immunisations for travel & MTX

I may be going to India for work soon and will need jabs & malaria tablets, its not confirmed yet but it will be relatively short notice when I find out

I asked my GP what they were and whether or not there would be a problem with my meds as I know i'm not supposed to have live vaccines but she referred me to the travel clinic I have an appointment in a months time (the earliest they could get me !?!) and i'm worried that they will only be able to give me advice relating to the vaccines not in relation to the RA & its associated drugs.

I'm on MTX, etodolac (NSAID), folic acid, paracetamol, codeine

any ideas would be gratefully received even if its just places i could go for advice or information i can clarify with the nurse at the clinic

thanks
Chrissie

    Hi chrissie

perhaps give your rheumy helpline a call? They may be able to give you some more info.

What about NHS Direct? They could be another avenue for info. DD
