A huge thank you to you all for you kind words & support.
Dads home
He's very poorly but wanted to be at home.
He fell out of the bed last night in hossie & they had a hell of a job to get him up & back into bed so he has a few bruises to add to the rest of it. He has all the meds he needs & has to see gp in 5 days.
Ive spoken to my brother & he is going to ring social services to get mum & dad some help. Ive been trying to persuade them to try to get a bathlift whilst they wait for a walk in shower to be fitted.
Dads blood pressure is sky high & temperature is slowly going down.Im not sure about the heart problem just its not good.
He is a strong man & very stubborn so the hossie didnt have much hope of keeping him there. He doesnt like being hossie knapped.
Again thank you all, debs0 -
Happy birthday debs hope you had a good day love joanneJoanne0

Hi Debs,
So sorry to hear about your dad and dad in law. Have to add my Dad was a real stubborn man and would shout at me if I did not get him home. Sometimes it is the best thing to comply with their wishes. Do hope they will except help for everyones sake.
Sorry about your birthday, lets hope you can have an unbirthday soon.

Hello minky, I'm gald your dad is home, it really is the only place to be when ill! It sounds as tho things are under control, and I hope your parents accept any help they are offered.
I also hope your other 'dad' is doing OK. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi Debs
The poor Man
hossie napping is becoming a bit too frequent around here isnt it?
Very wise to wang some support in for him - did the same for my mum and it made a huge difference to her independance and my level of worry
Got one of those community alarms for her too.
Take it steady girl
Love

Hi & Thank you again for your lovely replies & concern.
Ive been ringing them day & night & Dad seems to be improving. He's perky, sleeping well & eating so fingers cross the infection is under control.
Lynn, my Dad is grumpy with everyone when he's ill & hossie is not the right place for him.
Jan, Sorry i didnt think at the time about this thread.
Thanks I will have to have an unbirthday then when i feel upto it.

It is good to hear hes back home with all his familiar stuff. Glad they are getting a shower fitted as that will make life easier all round.
You take care too...
