Hi
a white coating does sound like thrush,
as its the weekend maybe go and ask your local pharmacy, they might be able to give you some advice
hope it clears up soon0 -
Mouth infections are very common on meth, usually ulcers but can also include oral thrush. The dangly thing is your epiglottis, I think, it closes over your trachea (windpipe) when you swallow food, to ensure the food goes to your gut, not your lungs. It's perfectly possible to have a spot on it, try gargling with salt water or a solution of TCP. Don't swallow either of them, tho! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Hi Joyous,
Nice to see you
As well as agreeing with Page and DD I also think maybe talk to your rumo nurse or gp as the ulcers can be connected to the mtx. Its horrible for you and spots on your epiglottis could also be the thrush (if that's what you have) I think maybe get it checked out though in case you need the mtx dose changed to fight it all off. You take care and please keep in touch. Cris x0 -

Hi Joy,
Oh its horrible isn't it? This drug interferes with that one and its all akin to a balancing act really. The mtx is in the frame for the ulcers for sure but it could be hormonal. I so hope the mini pill will help you there. Its might well do Flower so hang in there and keep in touch with us. Again its nice to see you and well a cyber ((( ))) and a bucket of hopes for you. I've just got rid of a nasty, persistent bout of thrush on MTX. My GP said, if you're on steroids, it will taken even longer to get rid of it because you're doubly immunosuppressed. Yuck!0
