    Hii Val

Well I hope you get a better visit this time. If they took your bloods last time maybe something might show up so they can treat you better.

They might send you to have x rays done as well.

I hope it does go better for you Val.

    Sending a (((()))) to you

Good question. Why do we get worked up about our appt.?

Last time I was there I had my list, kept taking deep breaths. Then after a 2 and half hour wait. (double bookings) ended up with the registrar who I had never met and just sat there and manged to forget 90% of what I wanted to say.

Glad you have your mum with you. She will prompt you. 8)

Hope it goes far better than you think.

Take a list of questions with you, it helps to focus your mind and ensure that you cover the things that are bothering you. Take some moral support too, if you can. They might hear/remember sonething that you miss.

No matter how many times one has these sessions, they can be daunting. Good luck, let us know how you get on. DD

I don't think I'm wasting their time, in fact for the first four years of this malarkey I now endure they wasted mine, by telling me there was nothing wrong, it would sort itself out and all go away, then another year by bouncing me between orthopaedics and rheumatology, trying to decide whose pigeon I was. Plonkers. I'm determined to get my money's worth from the lot of 'em because I had, in total, five years of nothing while my left knee turned into an airship. Initial problem, April 97. First surgery February 2002. Grrrrrrrrrr. DD

The fact they can't is very disappointing. DD
