Hi everyone
I've found a petition that someone has started on getting ATOS sacked.
I thought it might be of interest to a few people.
He's definitely spot on with some of his comments.

He only started it on 29th May so he doesn't have too many signatures, yet....

If this government is paying a firm to do this work for them, then it will come under scrutiny, without a doubt and very soon. It will have a legal status to continue receiving monies from its contract, which the Con/Lib coalition has no choice but to pay since it was signed by the previous administration(New Labour), which was voted in by the British electorate, good or bad.
No amount of petition signing will change those facts, just raise your blood pressure! Just remember next time an election comes up.

Hi Christine,
Many thanks for your support and also for your kind words.
My parents suffer from arthritis and I'm prone too. Arthritis is one of the 131 conditions which is targeted by Atos Healthcare, so arthritic taxpayers are treated as "scroungers" by the ESA system. My experience is that Atos Healthcare ejected me from my 'assessment' because I wished to write down the name of the person assessing me. Atos Healthcare then spent 9 weeks refusing to repay my travel expenses and they told repeated lies to DWP claiming I hadn't attended the compulsory assessment. This is why I started the petition.
There are several web forums with evidence of further Atos Healthcare abuses, perhaps the most shocking of which being Mike Bach's story. Mike is a terminally ill brain cancer sufferer and his story is at:
http://www.whywaitforever.com/dwpatos.html
Only yesterday, Chris Grayling M.P. (Con, Epsom and Ewell) who is Minister for Work and Pensions, made an announcement quoted on the Mail Online's website attacking all 2.5million sick claimants as "workshy" This from a man who reportedly 'owns' 3 houses within the M25 area paid for by we taxpayers!
The Mail Online story is here:

If, like me, you are offended by his reported remarks, he can be e-mailed here:

Many many thanks again for your support, Christine,
If you have any petitions to sign for ArthritisCare, please don't hesitate to e-mail me..
Best Regards,
John Moore

I've only read part of it so far, and very detailed and informative it is too. Makes me want to get an automatic rifle and visit the nearest ATOS office.
I don't normally sign online petitions but will make an exception in the hope that it will make a difference. I shall also propagate you links across the web.
Del
Hi Del, that's brill...much appreciated - thank you
