Sore Itchy Eyes

Hi,have any of you experienced sore,itchy eyes while taking MTX? :( After taking the drug for two weeks I suddenly had a red,bumpy,itchy rash appear on my arms so my GP told me to stop taking it.However,saw the rheumy nurse and consultant yesterday and he has lowered my dose from 15mg to 7.5mg and two Folic Acid instead of three.I will restart taking it again this weekend and hopefully the rash won't return.I did mention my sore itchy eyes and the nurse told me that it could be caused by the RA and suggested I use some artifiical tear drops.But it does seem strange that the eye itching and rash only started when I began taking MTX.I guess we all react differntly to drugs but I'd be interested to know if anyone else has had eye trouble.I have my yearly eye test done this Friday so will mention it to the optician.     Yes, I get dry/itchy eyes intermittently with methotrexate.. it comes on and goes without any rhyme or reason and of course when I open a new bottle of the artificial tears you can bet your life that it goes away and I end up having to throw the (nearly full) bottle out after 4 weeks!!
