Arthur symptoms or summat else

I've been suffering again for around a month now.
Pains in my arms, (I have arthuritis in my neck) mainly in the shoulders, right worse than left, throbbing in the lower or my arms and numbing in my fingers.
Lately I've been suffering with headaches and dizzy spells. When I sit or stand the whole room feels like it's tilting and I stumble and lose my balance. This was a symptom I had that made the doc send me for the neck x-ray last yr that diagnosed my Arthur.
I find that I can't put any pressure on my arms, can't push myself up in bed etc. Have to hold a hot brew with 2 hands cos I feel i'm going to drop stuff all the time.
I'm ever so grumpy at the moment with both hubby and the kids and I don't mean to be I just can't help myself.
Since being diagnosed, I was told by the doc to just take Ibuprofine and he refered me for Physio. I was discharged from Physio in Febuary and I started suffering around the beginning of May.
I went to see the doc (not the one who diagnosd me as I couldn't get in with him) but the woman I saw didn't seem interested old me to go back to physio although the reason I went to the doc was cos the physio said i'd have to be rerefered by the doc if I needed to go back.
I'm not one for complaining and hate going to the doctors unless I really have to.
Do you think the above is tied into my arthur ?
Thanks for listening to my waffling

Dear Carol,
Thank you for your enquiry to Helplines. This sounds like a really concerning situation for you. I'm attaching some good self-management information on neck pain. The referral that you might want to discuss with the GP might be to a musculo-skeletal clinic (or an orthopaedic back specialist).

Also if you would like to know more about practically managing your arthritis day to day you might consider coming on one of our self-management courses -

If you would like to talk about your arthritis, do call us on our freephone.
Hope that helps
