As from tomorrow it is countdown folks.
And then we are off to Norway on the 21st.
We get back on the 19th July.
I am trying to be calm. It is going to be quite an adventure. I have devised the whole Itinerary. Starting from Harwich we sail to Esjberg, Denmark and then motor to Hirtshalls to ferry to Larvik. meet up with friends and spend the next 24 hours with them, celebrating Midsummer with them, On the 24th, we set off from Porsgrunn to Feda, Bergen, Sandane, Molde, Trondheim, Mosjoen, Fauske, Narvik, Tromso, Alta, Honningsvag, Nordkapp. Then the return journey Alta, Skibotn, Ballangan, Mo i Rana, Grong, Opdall, Lillehammer, Rjukan (Telemark), Remember the film 'Heroes of Telemark'?. and then back to Porsgrunn where are staying in a school for a couple of nights. Then ferry back to Denmark, Legoland for 24 hours and then back to England.
We can only take a little packing, which is difficult because I need so many things. My meds take up one small bag on its own, even though I have made up a couple of cassettes. I usually only have one for a fortnight, have now had to get another one for the next two weeks, plus I have to take 4 injections and my TENS m/c and flare up spray and on and on an on.

Knowing my luck it will be misty especially on our trip back when we shall be coming back across the mountains.
She'll be coming round the mountain, when she comes

You're going to have an awesome time!!
I am very envious of your holiday - I went to Norway for a few days last summer (to Flam) and would go back in a flash!!
It's such a beautiful country and the people are lovely!
Will look forward to hearing how it goes

Joy, so good to see you back from the "dark side". I`ve missed your posts.
My son and DIL were in Tromso for the Film Festival at the beginning of the year. They were very impressed with how delightful the people were. Also, lovely clean streets. They finished their trip with a moonlit sleigh ride through the snow, drawn by Huskies. Magical. Ooh, they did find everything rather expensive though........Ange.0 -

I shall have to go back on facebook to do that.0 -
I was sitting upstairs doing my ironing with my steam press listening to Classic FM. Don't care what you like, I like Classic FM. It's relaxing.
anyway, whoever wason at this afternoon started talking about Norway and the weather and apparently the west is forever wet. So I am going to go and get some wet weather gear tomorrow. I know we have a hood on the car but if it is up I feel claustrophobic, and whilst you are moving you don't get wet,
So if I take plenty of wet weather gear, maybe it will keep the sun shining, never know.
Thanks for your wishes. Wish now I was organising a bus trip. I would take you all with me. :P :P :P
