I just read this and it just goes to show what your told is not always true, i am one of the ones who keep getting told that they cant do anything for my OA and i'm too young to even for surgery, if this is the way they see things then why do some people seem to get more done about there arthritis but we me they saying its mild or early signs of OA but when your experincing the pain, it dont feel like it.
Is it my doctors cant be bothered or what? i thought they were supposed to help people not make them feel how i felt the other day after my visit to that horrible doctor, one thing for sure i never really went to the doctor because i didnt like to bother them, but now i'm not so sure i will be very kean to go back again after my experince.

Hi
I suppose i am lucky int he sense i can get an operation on my knee as it has only got damage on one side so they can move bits and bobs about to hold off for replacement.
It doesnt help me when i cant work and people look at me as if to say. she's young enough why cant she work.....WELL HHEEELLLOOO YOU CANT SEE INSIDE ME SO ^$%^£ OFF !!!0 -
Don't give up - just shout louder!! Have you requested a second opinion yet?
The girl's titanium replacement didn't last long did it? I wonder if it was redone 6 years later because she outgrew it or wore it out? They are meant to last 35 years ... maybe that is why they are reluctant to do yours in case it needs to be redone every 6 years?
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0
