A good TV Quiz for lateral thinkers

Collapsed in a heap in front of the telly last night and discovered, to my joy and delight, a new series of Only Connect on BBC4. It is hosted by Victoria Cohen (one of its flaws) and it tests one's ability to think laterally. The rounds have a common purpose - you are given a number of clues and you have to discover the link between them. Some are very straightforward, I know that because I can do them, some are so obscure but then obvious when told the answer. I thoroughly enjoy it, tho I am rubbish at most of it. The connecting wall is a challenge, 4 groups of 4 things which have to be sorted, and obviously some of the items fall into more than one camp. The final round is the missing vowels round, which I am quite good at, which, given what I do is a good thing. Joanlawson, this could be for you if you don't know of it already. It's on Thursdays, BBc4 at 7.30pm (I think) DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben
