thought i would share how wonderfully sweet my hubby is as i think he deserves recognition, even if noone knows him lol :D

since horrid arthur came along our social life has dimished quite a bit, we still get out to family occasions now and then and odd days out with our boys but more often than not by the time evening comes (and pretty much every weekend) we're settled down together in front of the tv when the boys are in bed. (we very rarely get babysitters and enjoy our time together when theyre asleep)

anyway, sorry i do go on sometimes  since ive been riddled with arthur and we do enjoy our evening movies, hes told me he's using the little 'windfall' he's received on a cinema screen and projector for our living room, told me if we're gonna be home watching dvd's, we'll watch them in style :D

needless to say i think he's really sweet and considerate and am looking forward to our first movie night with our boys, munching on hot dogs and popcorn :)

hope you don't mind, just thought id share some happy news

thanks :) hes the best and i tell him everyday. had a bad marriage before this one and cant believe my luck second time around.

i love sitting with my little family watching movies. the last one we watched together was Ice Age 3 - loved the dinosaurs in the playground - i feel so contented watching my kids laugh.

I'll have to make sure we have some new movies to watch for the first showing! :D

    all films welcome! :D
we shall be enjoying cosy nights with takeaways and wine and fun movie nights with friends hopefully!!

my eldest is excited because he wants his friends and cousins to have a sleepover in the holidays - we had one in the last school holidays which he loved - should be even better with a big screen.

    my hubby's a sweetheart :D

    Caroline,

I'm SO jealous! I managed to buy "Shaun of the Dead" at the supermarket tonight for £3 and am looking forward to watching it in a bit, but it won't be the same now that I know you're getting a cinema screen :(

I wonder what I have to do to get my hubby to agree to getting one?!

    Hi Caroline

What a nice thing to do. I really hope you enjoy all the movies you watch and what better way to do it is with hubby and the children

When do we get an invite???

It helps such a lot having a hubby who tries to make life nicer for you.

    enjoy it

    Love Trish xx

How sweet :) He sounds very caring. My hubby is good too, he took me for a lovely meal tonight and wanted to walk after, but as my ankles are sore and Ive been hobbling everywhere he said we could go for a short walk in the park and go for a drive instead. :)

 i think im just lucky that my hubby is a 'gadget' bloke ~ what is it with men and gadgets?? :?

i know he's making home life better but i secretly believe he just wants that extra remote control :D

i cant do much for him but i try, making sure he's looked after and cared for too, i guess all those bacon butties and hot brews ive made him when he's been working outside on his car in the cold must have worked
