    Panic over! But its closed. I thought I had taken the wrong medication just now! Chemist shut, no helpline,but internet came to the rescue.

    Wasnt sure what to do!

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Yes. Sorry. I ook my Methotrexate and afterwads noticed it said MAXTREX on the bottle. Well I have never seen that name before so panicked they had given me wrong medication.
    Of course Chemist that prescribed them was closed so came on here.

    Was going to puke them up, I suppose thas what I should have done to be on the safe side but MAXTREX is hw same thing Doh!

    I always check all meds when I ge them from the chemist. That then gives me time to note any differences and sort out what's what. DD

    It's just one of those obvious, common things that is so easy to miss. Like putting a spoonful of sugar in a mug, rather than all over the kitchen's worksurface and floor.
