pain in ribs/breastbone

hi everyone, just thought I would update you. Went to see rheumy today and he says it isn't arthritis but a torn muscle. Painful whatever it is. He seemed to be concerned about peptic ulcers but it definitely isn't one of those.

Thanks Lynn and Marion. I think I did it swimming, believe it or not. Did lots of backstroke which I don't normally do to try and help my shoulders a bit. My rheumy looked incredulous and muttered something about steroids. I am relieved though.
