Anyone know how I can find out if my med records have been transferred to my new doctor here? Short of ringing the surgery (which I would rather not do) that is.

    You could try to ring your local PCT, they deal with the transfers of medical records I think.

    Could you ring your old surgery and find out when they released them.

    Hi Annie

    I think the PCT should know. Are your records electronic? (mine are) - if so, it should just be pressing a key on a computer and sending them to the new GP ..
