Ooooh ouch!! Felt that. Pop your hand under the tap for a bit.

Then kick the ironing board (safer than the wall!)

That's the problem with good days, they make you lower your guard.

Seriously, I am sorry, it's typical isn't it, you do something that is normally a struggle then un-intentionally hurt yourself. Rest them as much as you can for the rest of the day, perhaps that will help. DD

    Hi

    Ouch - that sounds painful!!

Ironing??? I think that must be that thing I gave up years ago after reading Shirley Conran's 'Superwoman' book..

I only buy things that you can wash. spin and then hang up to get the creases out..

Mind you, it was nice, when I stayed with my sister after my hip operation, to have my dressing gown ironed before I put it on..

    Best wishes

Me too, Marion - but only because I have better things to do than ironing .... like ... like ... BEING ON THE FORUM!!

Oh Anna, has it settled down yet? What a thing to happen and you had just earned all those brownie points for ironing. Not fair.

It is the glass that cheers, and you needed cheering. Job done! I hope your hand is feeling better today. DD
