Hi Jaspercat, have to confess I don't often watch sport ... but did get drawn into watching some tennis late afternoon ... mens singles ... mmm -not sure it was really the tennis I was watching ...

Well today has been motor bike racing and F1
Tomorrow is the F1 race and then the football.
I will be on the swing and snoozing.

Roll on the doubles. Far, far better than egocentric singles players.
As for the footy, I remain testicularly challenged on that front, and I think that even those with those additions are struggling to justify the lousy competition to date. It has been an appalling World Cup. Too many indifferent teams playing indifferent matches - and I include tomorrow's in that. Only we care that we're playing the Chermans: they don't give a hoot. Anyhoo, I shall sing 'One world cup and two world wars, doo-dah, doo-dah . . ' because (apparently) that is what one does (with or without frank and beans). DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
I am sad there are only 2 matches on a day and not the previous 3! Still no mud wrestling at Glastonbury this year for a change.
Athletics next month!

Well I will watch the match just so I can see us go out on penalties to the dastardly hun!. But my heart will always be with rugby a real mans sport and none of the pathetic acting we see with so called top players like that cheating turnip Renaldo. Oh and why do they always clear their noses and throats on the same bit of grass they keep falling down on to try and get a free kick, diving into someones snot is not a nice or sensible thing to keep doing to me!?.0

Mine would be teetering too. Two long matches is just enough to get through mine but cleared it all yesterday so might have room for a bit more today!
