The Moral of the Tea Seller:

A little old lady from Tenby earned her living by selling tea and cakes during the half-time interval during football matches at The Racecourse Ground, home of mighty Wrexham FC.

Being the daughter of a mean old South Gower farmer, she tried to boost her profits by using the same tea bags over and over again.

At first no one noticed and she made a lot of money.

Then word got around that her tea wasn't what it used to be, the fans stopped buying her stuff and got so disillusioned with the whole thing that they stopped attending on matchdays.

As a result she went out of business, along with the club.

Without the support of the fans, the directors sold the football ground, which was bought by a rich Salop landowner and sheep farmer.

He set up his own club, naming them after his favourite ram, Chester. Thus, a venerable name in football sporting history had been resurrected.

Chester City went on to claim successive promotions and achieved unprecedented success in the top flight winning the Premier League 5 times in a row and a remarkable treble of Welsh Cup, Premier League and Champions League on no fewer than 8 occasions.

Unfortunately, Wrexham FC was never heard of again.

Moral: Honest tea is the best policy. :D
