Hello,
What a wonderful thing to happen for you all. What a shame we can't post pictures on the site as we would all love to see her.
It must be a lovely distraction for you all and such a great time of year to have a baby. Hope all are doing well. Lots of love Sue0 -
As I was struggling up the stairs yesterday I thought of you (there is a link) and remembered that your daughter was expecting and wondered if and when.
Congratulations on the birth of a beautiful grandaughter,

Hi Theresa - ooh congratulations. Tell us more!!
(and sorry you are suffering today.)
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
It certainly gives you a big boost when they come along, my grandson is now 2 weeks old and every time I think of him I am thrilled. So, well done for producing a child that has their own child now, thats what its all about!

Wow thank you all for your lovely messages.
My grandaughters name is Kaiia (sounds like Kaya)
She weighed 8lb 1 oz (30 hr labour!!!)
She has dark eyes and a mass of dark hair and is the spitting image of her mother when she was born. I was there at the birth and it was wonderful.
They are both home and doing very well and my daughter and I get on so much better now. Im Grandma as my nanna was horrible and my grandma is lovely and I prefer Grandma anyway.
We are all still tired a week on wsith visitors and I am sleping in my daughters room to help during the night as my daughters iron levels are low. Although she really is good and only cries for nappy change and feeds.
The father is not in the picture as he wasnt very nice..less said the better. She is living at home with us. My hubby is a very smitten and proud Grandad.
My Grandma is now a Great great grandma and we have another 5 generation photo (the last one when my duaghter was born). We are all very blessed.
Arthur is having a good go to return with a vengeance but I am hoping he holds off a bit longer as my friends daughter who grew up with my daughter has just gone into labour at 33 weeks today so I need to be strong to support her too as she doesnt have the extendsed family support that we have.
Thank you all again for your kind messages imagine a little dark haired doll as that is what she looks like with cupid bow full lips. and chubby cheeks.
Speak soon
