Off to Alton Towers Again!

Can you believe it's been a year since I last went to Alton Towers and posted this??? I go every year but generally have the rule that I don't take my girls until they're tall enough to go on the big rides. My eldest has been for the last 2 years and my middle daughter is now tall enough.

Because I have BOGOF vouchers and 3 of us are going so we'd have a spare ticket, I did say I would take my youngest if she behaved and didn't fight with her older sisters. So it looks like she will be with my parents tomorrow Most of you will know, she doesn't really do good behviour all that well.

The girls have an inset day tomorrow so the place will be nice and quiet. I have taken the day off work especially My husband will be at work because he's a complete wimp. I can't wait to go on the new Thirt3en (or however its spelled) ride!

Oh Nina have a wonderful day with your girls. I dont think I would be too happy going on rides these days but I used to love them.

Nina its never nice and quiet at these places. I love the haunted house at A.T. havent been since my girls were little as no way I could manage all that walking nowadays. Take care,

Is that where the Oblivion ride is!!??, went on that a few times, really great a verticle drop right down into an underground tunnel!!!!.

yeah, that would be good and funny as we walk round asking complete strangers (real non arthur forum ones) are you such and such a person then seeing them carted off by security.....

was coz of that ride i got preggers with aimee!

Hello all

Thanks for your replies, we've had a great day (minus Jassie, unfortunately, but she took her punishment on the chin and accepted that she couldn't come with us). I'm paying for it now though... Very tired with stiff feet from all the walking.

Oh and a word to the wise for anyone planning on going to Alton Towers - don't bother with the new 13 ride, it's rubbish! Honestly, we came off it thinking "Is that it?" Oblivion still rocks though, Simie who is 8 and for whom this was her very first rollercoaster ride wanted to go on it again before the ride had even finished! Ellen still loves Air, but for me, it will always be Oblivion.

We SHOULD all meet at AT or somewhere else sometime! We could have a reunion! Would be great to meet at some pub somewhere on a summer's evening and sit chatting like we do on here

Erm, and I don't know why you all seem to have the impression that I'm pretty :?: Very peculiar, but very welcome!
