Gabapentin and Co-codomols

hi everyone - hope things are not too bad for you peeps??

jsut quick quirey!! I am now on 3 lots 300gabapentin a day and am noticing the difference slowly!! Will have to build up to 1800 a day! my question is do people take the gabapentin and co-codomols together or different times???? I know that everyone is different but just wondered if most people found a way that works better??

Hi Louise

I take Gaberpentin and also take other pain meds as well. I'm on Oxycontin also Oxynorm which are like morphin drug.

I suppose you could take it but I would ask a chemist if you are near one if not ask you gp.

Hi Trish - ta for reply. I asked the local chemist is I could take them together and he said yes but as the methx has been reduced I have been getting loads more pain in my hands. i just wondered if it was worth spreading the pain relief during the day and what others did?? How long do peeps find that the gabapentin lasts - eg, bout 4 hours or longer?? does that make sense?? sorry do have trouble sometimes explaining what i mean!!!!

hi lronic - thanks for the hi!! hope you are doing ok? I do feel better - it is a slow progress with the gabapentin but I do feel its working. I think I will need the full dose - am due to go back to doctors to let him know if its working so hope he ups the does then!! never thought about asking help team!!! Thanks
