work at not give up because you cant agree, we been together for 16+ years and you cant say that about members of his family who only seem to stay together for 5 or less years, no staying power.

Alright Sylvia?
It's not just you, men are completely different to women, I have the same thing with my husband.
But if you never remember another thing ever, remember just this one: Women are always in the right

i tell my self to try and look for the best in them, sometimes its not easy, but my man is one of a twin and although they look alike thats it, the other twin is 10 no 100 times worse, so at least all them years ago i picked the better one.sylvia0

I like your thinking Sylvia As Toni says, I am right because I am a woman!
Does anyone else's partner not seem to know the meaning of the word "clean"? My husband won't clean our bathroom or dust (although he does like to push the hoover around - never into the corners or under things, mind) and unless I remind him, he won't put his clothes in the wash! I've managed to bring up 3 daughters who do it, so why I haven't I been successful with my husband of 13 years?!
That said, I do love him dearly - he does everything I ask of him, I just have to ask him all the time. I used to think (and have friends who still think) that he should know and do chores without reminding, but I discovered long ago that the arguments weren't worth it. He does the chores happily when asked, so what's the problem?

PS - am going home to a cooked meal so not ALL of my training failed!0 -
the word clean has different meanings to different people, some are very good at it some not so good and some who i guess would not know the meaning of it if it jumped up and bit them on the bottom, hubby twin falls in to that slot, never lifted a duster in his life i sure he does know how but vant be bothered and would rather someone else do it, does that sound firmlarsylvia0
