low dose naltrexone or LDN

Has anyone heard of this drug which is currently not licensed in the UK. There is a campaign ongoing to try to get more research and testing done in this country. Seems it is a low cost drug and is being used in the USA and has been since 1984. Any info would be appreciated.

    There is a website for LDN which should give you all the information you nee - just Google LDN.

    looks interesting - are you thinking about going on it B?

    Yeah i heard about it some months ago and had a look into it, a friend took it for a short time for Lyme's disease and thats how i heard about it, it didnt help her that much but it didnt make her ill either.
    i would be interested in trying it myself and hope that more research is done on it.
    let us know if you hear any more about it.

    thanks for that. have looked at the website but a lot of the info I have been seems to be based on American doctors prescribing. will speak to my doctor next time I go to see if any progress being made with research etc.
