Hi Berty
I had my knee op at the end of January and I have a "discolouration" at the back of the knee. I would not call mine bruising but it is that sort of colour but not really dark. I have dismissed it as being something that will stay with me. I may mention it at my 6 month check at the end of July but it does not worry me and to be pain fre with a straight leg is more important to me. My legs are best covered anyway!

Hi Berty,
I don't think it is anything to worry about flower. Elna has more experience of replacements than I have but I do know that orthopedic surgery in the main takes up to 18 months to truly settle.
Its got to be similar to the surgery with removal but not replacements of joints and both my feet and back had discoloration and continued improving for months and months and well over a year as well.
As your surgery is much newer it might be worth asking next time you see either the physio, doctor or consultant? Fingers crossed it is 'nothing'. Luv and a ((((( ))))) Cris xx0
