Hi, after the three weeks of pains I have hit a down patch, I could just cry my eyes out all the time, Malcolm is on the receiving end as usual, we have had no lunch as he said he would do it, because I have been working hard this morning, why can't men do what they say they are going to do? it must be a man thing.

I have decided to see the gp next week if I continue to feel like this love Jaspercatxx

    Hi Jaspercat :(

Oh I am sorry you feel this **** chick :(

I wish I could help, but I think you are wise to go and see the doc if you continue to feel this low. You really don't need it.

Hope you have eaten by now too

    Lots of hugs

    Hi Jaspercat,

I am so sorry your feeling so down. Its been a long few weeks for you and its bound to get to you so hang in there and better days are coming.

Men are forgetful sometimes.... they need gentle reminding as I remember..... Its hard sometimes to not get cross but I am sure he will understand. Give Malcolm a ((( ))) from me for being there for you and a feel better soon ((((( ))))) for you. love Cris xxx

    Hi Jaspercat,

I'm sorry you are feeling so miserable and that the pain has been worse again. Why don't you ring the docs today and get an appointment and you can always cancel it if you feel more yourself after the weekend.

If you haven't eaten (ie because OH has forgotten his promise) then grab something simple for yourself now as low blood sugar will make you feel even worse.

    Keep reading and keep posting.

Hello Jaspercat, so sorry you are feeling so down and in so much pain and I think you have made the right decision about going to the GP. I agree with Speedy though that it might be worth trying to make an appointment today - because if your GP surgery is anything like mine, if you ring next week you might struggle to get an appointment anytime soon - and at least then you know it's there if you need it.

    Thinking of you.

    Love Tilly x

I am so sorry to hear you have hit rock bottom today. Malcolm is so good usually and we do take it out on our nearest and dearest. When I say to my hubby something like, others think I am cheerful all the time, he replies, you must put on your miserable face just for me when you get home then.

Men do forget, they cannot multi-task too well, that is what I have found, not with things they do not really wish to do.

I think it is a good idea to see the gp and have a chat if things have not got any better, which I do hope they will very soon.

    Hugs

    Hello Jasper,
Sorry you are not so well. It must have been a nasty surprise to find that lunch is not ready, when its been priomised.

You do sound so very low at the moment and you must get as much rest as you can, remember your health is the most important thing in the world for you. Maybe your o/h will cook on another day and you can pin him down to what hes going to do and remind him about ingrediants and times! Well, maybe thats a bit too much but you know, encourage him by telling him how nice it is to have someone cook for you.

I think things that would be minor annoyances if we are well, become major problems when we feel ill and it all seems too much. It will get better, though, I'm sure.

Lots of love and a hug Sue ((((((()))))))

    Hi Jaspercat

Are you feeling a wee bit better now?

There must be something in the air as there are quite a few of us feeling on a downer over recent days.

The good news is that it means there must be a big huge bundle of smiles around the corner for us so come on .... race you around the corner (or hobble!!).

Keep positive Jaspercat, I have come to realise this week that we are allowed to have a downer.

Much hugs and smiles to you, Carol x

Hi, thanks everyone, I manged to get an emergency appt with the gp yesterday, he tinks it is hormonal as I am pre-menstral already, he did some blood tests, I am not sure about this theory at all, but will wait to hear from him, very tired today as friday night was very oppressive here, so I am going back bed for a couple of hours later, love to you all Jaspercatxx

Hi Jaspercat. So pleased you got an appt yesterday.

Hope you have managed to get some sleep today despite the heat. The hot weather and lack of sleep certainly don't help do they?

    Thinking of you.

    Hi Jaspercat,

well done for getting an appointment. If it is hormonal - can the GP help? Did he make any suggestions in the meantime?

Hope you manage to get some kip it is very hot here too.

    Take care,

Hi, I managed a couple of hours sleep this afternoon, it is slightly cooler here in Macclesfield, not at all the day promised, very cloudy, little sun and no rain, the night is the worst though very oppressive, could be worse though, Malcolm managed to cook some sausge rolls today, mind you made them love Jaspercatxx

    Hi Jaspercat,

I just came on here tonight to write an almost identical post! I have also been in pain due a flare-up that's lasted over a month now. My bloke knows I'm independent so doesn't really help unless I ask him to - but I'm struggling at the moment and I don't feel as though I'm getting any sympathy or understanding from him, never mind practical help. I'm not usually this moany, but I've got PMT too - it's got a lot to answer for!

Elna - I had to laugh at what your other half said about just being miserable at home because everyone else thinks you're cheerful - same here! But if we can't just be ourselves around our partners, who can we be like that with?!

Take care Jaspercat, hope we all start to feel better soon, perhaps when this heat abates a bit.

    Jo xx.

    Hi Jaspercat and Jo,
Ditto to everything you said in your posts. I've had quite some weeks the same as yours. I've wept and whinged incessantly. How I'm still legally married is beyond my understanding!
My OH has been a brick ... I've incessantly said I'm sorry until I'm sick of listening to myself. What I'm saying is I really do know how you feel and can only hope that seeing I've been too self-pitied to join in here before, I hope you are now both feeling lots brighter.

All of you on this site are so kind and understanding and must be the only people in the world who don't throw a strop if folk like me drift away and seem to ignore you. Thank you all for that.

Sending all of you ((( ))))s and hope you are not suffering from the heat I keep hearing about. Up in t' North here we've 'ad rain and a chilly breeze on and off for some days, so I'm not as swollen and sweaty as I was.

    hi again jasper...

glad you had some rest and hope each day'll be a bit better for you.

If it's partly hormonal did the doc say how long meds would take to kick in? fingers are crossed that you get good results from them but if not please go back and tell him!. x

    love n hugs,

    Iris x

dolittle....sooo nice to have you back...missed you.! (((hugs)))
