I have had ear problems. The pain has brought me down. The energy has been sucked out me. I have gone out trying to push it away. I now am in a downer which has lasted one week. Doc says its because of me ears.
Ive got ear drops and told to take me pain killers for my neck and ear ache. He cannot tell if got an infection as im solid with wax again. I had the same in may.
I have to go back if not cleared and he said to put in olive oil a couple time a week in future to prevent it happening again once all this is cleared up.
I am annoyed im so low as ive been doing well. perhaps im running before i can walk metaphorically i mean.
I wish i had gone to docs earlyer instead of going to my courses. I was in wednesday but was to exhaused to venture over docs got some otex ear drops which didnt sort it. Doc has given me sodium bicarb which fizzes in ears and gunk comes out.
He wont seringe as it courses ear infections he says. and he cannot tell if i have an ear infection because of the wax. anyway thanks for reading i feel a little better writing it down from joanne

    Hi Joanne

Don't let it get you down - you have ben brilliant lately - so positive. Get out in your garden with the little un and water your flowers :)

I hope your ear is just blocked Joanne - once it's clear the doc will be able to tell.

Hope it's not the dreaded arhtur - he sneaks in your jaw sometimes and pretends to be earache..... :x :x

    You take care

    Love and hugs

I am so sorry that you are feeling low Joanne, especially as everything had been going so well for you.

Try to look at this for what it is. Something that can happen to anyone, at any time. No matter how hard we try, there will always be little blips along the way to stop us living our life as we want to. Give yourself the time to feel completely well again before carrying on with all your activities. At least now you know that better times are always just around the corner. You have achieved so much, and will continue to do so, I`m sure.

    Take great care..........Ange.

    Dear Joanne

It does often help to write things down to get it out of one's system or to begin to do so. This is a good place to write too as you are guaranteed replies even if we cannot put it right.

I really do sympathise with the ear problem. Mine is nowhere near as bad as yours and this is the first time I have had this kind of trouble. I have been putting in the olive oil as instructed by the gp for 3 weeks and three times a day    but I only do it once a day now because I am fed up of the cotton wool keep falling out - it just will not stay in my ear

Dear Joanne, on hindsight we can often say, we should have done this or that but you are dealing with it now and your gp seems very understanding. It is true syringing is not done at the drop of a hat, like I understand it used to be. I do hope that it is not an infection that you have. I will be thinking of you when I am putting oil in my ears and when I cannot hear properly, which I am not too hot on, at the best of times!

Chin up, Joanne, you are doing far too well for this to get you down for long. It is a blip and with all that you have conquered you will soon knock this one on the head too.

    Love

    Hi Joanne,
sorry you've been having a bad week. :(

as others have said you have been doing do well recently and hopefully this is just a little set back that you will get over with the right treatment.

I hope the ear drops work well and that the pain eases....if it doesn't then let your doc know so that more can be done and you don't suffer with this longer than necessary.

we are here for you Joanne....I don't know what I would have done without the good folks on the forum supporting me when I needed it, so keep talking to us.
    lots of love and strength.

    Hello,
I'm sorry you feel so down and have earache on top of everything! :( The pain of that is bound to bring you down, I get it from time to time and its horrible. I expect once you can get that cleared up, you will begin to feel a bit more like dealing with the other problems.

Just get some rest, if you can and go back to the docs if you still feel the same tomorrow. Don't just let it carry on.

Hope you feel better soon, love Sue. xxx

Hi Joanne, it is definitely a blip and will definitely pass.

Take the painkillers, do the bicarb thing (I'm intrigued, tell me more!!) and it will pass. S finds a warm hottie/wheatie (not too hot) helps too on sore ears.

    Hi Joanne

Sorry to hear about your ear (pardon the pun!) and glad you posted a message about it as it helps to just talk about the hiccups we get, doesn't it?

I sometimes get a sore right ear and know it can drive you around the bend. My doc doesn't know what it is however I suspect mine is Arthur as my jaw is usually painful at the same time.

Hope you are getting some relief today and sending you positive thoughts.

Hi Joanne, so sorry you are feeling down at the mo. You do seem to be dealing with it in a positive way, good for you!

Most of us have been there at some point; it does pass, even though it seems as though it never will. If it decides to bug you even further, do ask for help..........seeking help is a sign of strength not weakness or failure, because it takes so much courage to do so.

    hi Joanne,

It is really awful having ear ache. My poor dad had a lot of problems with ear wax so I know it can make you feel down.
Lets hope the drops work as soon as possible.
