Hi Alan
The Exorcist was a scary film, and lots of people seemed to believe it was true at the time.
When I was about 14 or 15, I lied about my age to get into the first Dracula film with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. I had never seen a horror film before, and it scared the life out of me. I was terrified that Dracula was going to come and get me after dark, and I couldn't tell my parents because they would have been angry with me for lying. That film seems so tame now in comparison to modern horror films, and today's teenagers would probably just laugh at it.

I've been to Whitby lots of times, and I had forgotten the Dracula connection.
The bunny-boiling scene in Fatal Attraction was quite scary too :!:  :shock:0 -
I`ve never, ever been able to watch scary stuff. The first time I saw ET I was terrified.
My lads always used to shout "Don`t look Mum", and put their hands over my eyes........Come to think of it, they still do!!.....Ange.0 -

That sounds a good one BC!!, I tend not to bother with horror films as most in the local vid shop have crap titles and covers so don't want to waste me money, I am a tight old ****!!!.0 -
Salems Lot. For some reason it freaks me out and I could not watch it again. Went to Salem when I was in Connecticut, it was a lovely place.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0

oneday, its called Seven, it has Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman as the detectives. It was all about killing people with the seven deadly sins. I didnt think it was particularly scarey.
